  • What is Smart DNS?

Smart DNS is an innovative method to access the regionaly blocked websites like Hulu, Netflix, BBC, etc. right from your location with your provider’s original speed, without any major changes in your device settings.

It also has an advantage comparing to other services, because it works on a large number of devices like Windows, Mac, Apple TV, iOS, Xbox, PS3, Wii, Roku etc.

  • How does Smart DNS work?

Simply changing the DNS servers on your device, you are able to unblock most popular US, UK, German, Canadian and other streaming sites. In order to bring you the best quality of all streaming media to all your devices, Smart DNS servers automatically re-route your data. • Does Smart DNS affect my speed?

Smart DNS doesn’t affect your speed.

With Smart DNS you can enjoy your original speed while streaming video and audio or browsing.

  • Does Smart DNS encrypt my connection?

No. All data you send via DNS and traffic which is forwarded to our servers is not encrypted (unless you access https sites). That way your internet connection speed is not affected.

If you want to encrypt your connection you can use our VPN services.

  • Does Smart DNS hide my IP address?

No. Your IP will not be hidden or changed.

If you want to change and hide your IP address you can use our VPN services.

  • What is the difference between Smart DNS and VPN?

VPN technology changes and hides your IP, encrypts your connection and automatically unlock sites giving you the possibility to surf anonymously, to be sure that you are safe while working with your bank accounts or while you are connecting to the Internet using unsecured Wi-Fi network.

Smart DNS is made just for unblocking web sites. It does not offer IP hiding and encryption.

Smart DNS is better and easier because it’s made specifically to unblock sites and works on more devices than VPN does. Smart DNS doesn’t affect your speed while on the other hand VPN lowers the speed.
