Something like this for the sport I follow, football, would be amazingly handy but due to various legal reasons this will sadly never happen meaning paying customers and fans lose out due to big companies.
It is the same with NFL to an extent because Game pass is not available to those residing in the US, the place this service would be most appreciated. I presume this is down to various networks controlling the rights to broadcast the games. There is Smart DNS though that can nullify this problem.
