How to Set Up Proxy on Internet Explorer

  1. Press on “Tools” (1) and choose “Internet Options” (2).

  2. Select “Connection” (3) tab and press on “LAN Settings” (4).

  3. Tick the “Use a proxy server for your LAN” box (5).

    Enter the IP address (6) and the port number (7) of the proxy server you want to use.

    To find the entire list of all available servers, sign in to your account on our website, go to “Setup” -> “VPN Servers“.

  4. Tick the “Use the same proxy server for all protocols” kbox (9) and click “OK” (10) and then “OK” again.

  5. When you’ll try to visit a website, you’ll be asked to enter a username and a password. Type your SmartyDNS VPN / Proxy username and password.
