This tutorial will show you how to set up SmartyDNS Extension for Firefox.
If you don’t have a SmartyDNS account, you can try our services for free for 3 days.
Click on “Add to Firefox” (1).
Click on “Add” (2).
Click on the SmartyDNS icon (3).
Type your Proxy/VPN username (4) and password (5).
Assure you use your VPN username and password, NOT the website account credentials. To find your VPN username and password, sign in to your account on our website, go to “Setup” -> “VPN Username & Password“. If you don’t have a SmartyDNS account, you can try our services for free for 3 days.
Click on “Sign in” (6).
Choose a proxy server location (7). By clicking on it, you will enable the proxy.
Click on “Disable SmartyDNS” (8) to disabled the proxy.
Go to “Settings” (9) by opening the main menu (10).
Here you can choose between HTTP/S and SOCKS5 protocols (11), the preferred port (12) and you can disable WebRTC (13).
